As part of the project, “I’m a refugee – I’m a migrant – I’m a man”, promo-documentary video works were created that show a scene in which a migrant family interrupts the shooting of a Serbian sci-fi film. The management’s reaction is misunderstanding and questioning what they are doing there. The leading actor Dragan Mićanović acts in a completely normal, human way and says that everything is fine, that people are just passing by, and that migration is OK and should be accepted because it is about people. The message we are sending is: No matter how much migration is a “zone of western portals”, our society should react in a welcoming mode, integrate migrants and include them in all social flows.
Also, with the campaign and other materials, we want to draw the attention of the migrant population and the wider public to the fact that migrants are vulnerable groups in society that may be at risk of various types of exploitation.
Leaflets and infographics were created as part of the campaign to inform migrants about the risks of human trafficking, how to protect themselves and who to contact if they need help and support. The infographics show data related to the identification of victims of human trafficking among migrants from the beginning of the migrant crisis to the present day and thus also show systemic failures in the identification process. Also, the second infographic shows the results of the media campaign.
