The working group for developing the Action Plan 2023-2025 for Implementation of the National Strategy on the Rights of Victims and Witnesses of Crime in the Republic of Serbia (2020-2025) held a working meeting at the beginning of this week (January 16 and 17). At the meeting, members of the working group got acquainted with the first draft of the AP, which regulates the implementation of the Strategy from 2023 to 2025. Also, they considered comments, proposals and suggestions on the draft. The final version of the Action Plan is being developed.
Since April 2021, ASTRA has been a member of the Coordinating Body for the Support of Victims of Criminal Offenses and Witnesses in Criminal Proceedings, whose task is to continuously monitor and improve support for victims of criminal offences and witnesses in criminal proceedings.
This meeting was realized within the project “Support to victims and witnesses of criminal acts in Serbia”, which, as a chosen partner of the Ministry of Justice, is implemented by the OSCE Mission in Serbia and financed by the European Union.
