On January 18, the Association Freedom is Priceless and the American Embassy in Belgrade organized a forum to mark Human Trafficking Prevention Month at the Dom Omladine.
In three panel discussions, the comprehensive approach in the fight against human trafficking was discussed, followed by the approach based on the rights and needs of the victims, while the last part was reserved for the generation of ideas and proposals for action against human trafficking. On this occasion, all members of the anti-trafficking community gathered to exchange experiences and examples of good practice, as well as ideas for future projects and initiatives. This was also an opportunity to educate citizens about this important topic.
At the second panel dedicated to the rights and needs of victims, the director of ASTRA, Marija Anđelković, spoke, relying on decades of experience and practice in providing direct assistance and support to victims of human trafficking.
