Eight years in a row, Marija Andjelković, the director of ASTRA, gave a lecture at the Legal Clinic for the Combating Human Trafficking at the Faculty of Law, University of Belgrade. Students were introduced to the trends of human trafficking in Serbia, the preventive activities that are being carried out, and the position and rights of victims of human trafficking. Special reference was given to the role of civil society in solving this problem through the case law and experience of NGO ASTRA in practice.
This is the eighth generation of students attending this unique legal clinic on the topic of combating human trafficking in the Republic of Serbia. The lecture took place on May 11th 2021.
