This year, as in previous years, the American Embassy organized the Criminal Justice Summer School for law students from August 27 to September 1, intending to provide professional orientation to students who want to pursue their future careers through one of the judicial professions. The school is intended for third- and fourth-year law students from all universities in Serbia. The lecturers included judges, prosecutors, lawyers, guests from the USA, and civil sector representatives. Our Marija Anđelković spoke yesterday, on August 28, at this event about the cooperation and connection of civil society organizations with judicial bodies, supported by examples from practice, but also about the results of the legal analysis of criminal proceedings brought for the crime of human trafficking and related crimes, which ASTRA has been doing for the last 12 years.
