ASTRA – Antitrafficking action held a professional meeting on September 30th as part of the project “Begging – (In)visible Exploitation Around Us,” which is supported by the Center for Research and Policy Making and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Norway.
The aim of gathering representatives from civil society, the judiciary, and social protection is to strengthen local capacities in the fight against forced begging through regional cooperation with partners from Bosnia and Herzegovina, with the goal of enhancing the support system. Structured meetings provide an opportunity for experience exchange to build capacities and gather valuable insights and guidance from colleagues in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
We would like to express our gratitude for the participation of all associates and partners in the expert meeting. Many thanks to the associates from Bosnia and Hergezovina and all participants for sharing their insights and experiences. We look forward to future collaboration and joint efforts in this important fight.
