In order to improve the capacity of the organization’s members of the AT Network, the Center for Girls organized PR training in Niš on February 17-19, 2017. The training was attended by 14 activists from eight towns who had the opportunity to learn more about the methods of media reporting and presenting the problem of human trafficking, with special emphasis on the protection of privacy and identity of victims of human trafficking in media. Lecturers at the training were Katarina Ivanovic, ASTRA PR and Mirela Fazlic Veljovic, a journalist from TV Forum Prijepolje. During the first day, the participants heard more about media coverage of the issue so far, analyzed the content and observed the existing problems and situations that should be avoided when talking about human trafficking. In the second part of the training, the participants practiced conversation in front of the cameras, simulated a roundtable discussion and wrote press releases and announcements of the events.
