On September 15, 2025, a meeting was held at ASTRA’s premises between two services dedicated to supporting children: NADEL, the National Child Helpline 116111 intended for children, teenagers, young people, and parents, and ASTRA, which operates the European hotline for missing children in Serbia, 116000.
We discussed further cooperation, the common challenges we face, as well as ideas and plans for improving our work. Special emphasis was placed on the importance of supervision and mutual professional support—not only for the quality of services we provide to children and families, but also for the professional development and capacity-building of experts. Such meetings represent an important step toward better coordination, experience sharing, and strengthening the child protection system in Serbia.
