July 22, 2025 – At the invitation of the Human Rights and Peace Committee of the International Federation of Medical Students’ Associations (IFMSA-Serbia), Professor Dr. Djordje Alimpijevic and ASTRA’s Director Marija Andjelkovic delivered a lecture on the crucial role of healthcare professionals in identifying and documenting the consequences of human trafficking. The lecture attracted great interest among medical students from around the world currently participating in an exchange program in Serbia, with special attention given to practical aspects of working with victims and the importance of multisectoral cooperation in their protection and recovery.
