Dubai – Police in Dubai broke the largest prostitution chain in a history of one of the biggest Arabia Emirates.
Police arrested 247 persons suspected to be involved in human trafficking and prostitution. “Police worked on this for a long time”, said the Head of Dubai Police Dahi Kalfan Tamim, adding that in a series of simultaneous raids in several bordellos 247 persons suspected for human trafficking and prostitution were arrested.
Police official said for AP that police monitored 22 villas registered as massage salons. Head of the Police Tamim said that government “declared war on human trafficking”.
Human rights activists acclaim police action, reminding that they have been warning for years that prostitution and human trafficking hide behind massage salons.
