A representative of ASTRA participated in a regional gathering of organizations held in Bar, Montenegro, from April 22 to 26, 2025. The event brought together activists and representatives of organizations from across the region, with the aim of fostering mutual connection, knowledge exchange, and empowerment through collective reflection and action.
The program covered a range of topics essential for feminist and social engagement, including the basics of anti-racism and governance from this perspective, climate justice and ecofeminism, the struggles of women on the frontlines of environmental defense, labor rights and the issue of collective care, as well as community resilience in the face of contemporary crises.
As a conclusion to the three-day intensive work, participants emphasized the importance of continued regional cooperation and solidarity, while strengthening feminist perspectives that center care, justice, and equality.
The event was organized with the support of Kvinna till Kvinna, Reconstruction Women’s Fund, Trag Foundation, and the Ecumenical Women’s Initiative.
