A Girl from Serbia Sold to the Austrian Buyers for EUR 2500

BELGRADE – According to Blic’s sources, three persons suspected for human trafficking and connected with a criminal group from Austria have been arrested today in an action of the Organized Crime Police Agency (SBPOK).

Ljubiša Radovanović (38), called Kurta from Lazarevac, Aleksandar Perišić (40) from Beograd and Goran Stefanović (33) from Ljighave been arrested in today’s action.

They are suspected of exploiting girls through prostitution in cooperation with a criminal gang from Austria.

– On November 7, the arrested sold a girl V.S. from Serbia to their Austrian partners for EUR 2500. She was then taken to Austria, where she was forced to practice prostitution. Two weeks later, according to SUBOK, the Austrian police arrested five members of this group which operated in Vienna and the girl was put in the shelter – a source from the Interior Ministry told Blic.

After the action in Austria, SBPOK stated secret tracing of the three suspects for selling the girl, which was followed by their arrest today.
